Not that long ago, I read where Idaho's literacy rate was 47%. Being an Australian teacher, that horrified me but explains a lot. Your article is EXCELLENT but what a shame there was a reason to write it. I don't know how you cope with the bleakness of it all. It's a real Dunning Kruger situation, isn't it?
