She was drunk on the first occasion and that must imply something else was going wrong in her life. Some boys that age aren't as innocent as we'd like to believe, but at 33 and a mother, I'm surprised she took this path, knowing how it would turn out. Teachers (I was one for three decades) sometimes lack emotional intelligence. I have seen this several times and it's not something easily tested. Perhaps new teachers thought to be vulnerable should be monitored for the first couple of years. As a substitute teacher, of course, that would be complicated. I feel for her children.
