… but what about the penile enlargement service? Mmm.
This dilemma has been on my mind lately. On yours too, I bet. As an organ donor, think I’ll recycle the lot. The lab technicians give you a memorial service once they’ve finished , so I thought of that as a practical send-off. Cheap but respectful.
I’ve read a bit about it and see it as an altruistic venture, but had no idea that I could be used for something other than helping to develop a cause for cancer or blindness or malignant narcissism. That gave me pause for thought. Being useful comes in all shapes and sizes.
Of course, once I have signed myself over to medical science, I can hardly complain. Nor can I change my mind about where I end up. I considered the possibility of taking residence at a body farm but not the chance of being used for cosmetic surgery. Once I have signed, I can’t suggest where I go or what can’t be done with me.
It’s all a bit of a risk, really. Imagine a room full of heads on benches, ready for dentists or surgeons to practise. It must take a while to adjust but you wouldn’t them to practise on their first patient, would you? Not if that’s you.
Who goes to work each day to sever these heads and arrange them in rows? It’s surprising what you discover.
